Besides the popularity of Apple Cider Vinegar online, we can acknowledge it very good health benefits for health, but also its drawbacks.
Apple Cider Vinegar comes from the French word “Vinaigre de Cidre”, which means sour wine.
Natural probiotics and vitamins
The combination of yeast and bacteria formed during fermentation can be counted as probiotics. Aside from probiotics, Apple Cider Vinegar contains as many vitamins as apple juice. This sour juice also provides vitamins B as well as antioxidant. Apple Cider Vinegar may also reduce the risks of possible Salmonella into your food.
Blood sugar control
According to some recent studies, Apple Cider Vinegar could be beneficial form people suffering from Diabetes and could reduce blood sugar especially if taken after a meal. However, Apple Cider Vinegar won’t cure diabetes, but it might help in addition of a treatment.
Combines with regular exercises and a healthy diet, Apple Cider Vinegar may be useful for losing weight. But don’t get too excited, this has moderate effect only.
Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar before meals might help you to break down food easily and will reduce the amount of gas you may have the first few months of your full plant-based diet
Note – Apple Cider Vinegar is not a magic tool. There is not proof of lowers high blood pressure or the risks of cancer. If you have a very acidic stomach, acid reflux or any kidney issues, this can have negative effects on you. It might also erode your teeth.
How to take Apple Cider Vinegar ?
I personally recommend taking 1 or 2 teaspoons with water and lemon, first thing in the morning, in order to wake up your digestive system, followed up with a small glass of water.
You can also add it your fresh salad.
